2011 marks 35 years since I had the great privilege of first meeting my spiritual teacher Swami Vishnu devananda. It is through his guidance and grace that I have been able to introduce the practice and teaching of Applied Yoga Therapy within the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Organization and its affiliated centers. Massages and courses are now being offered at ashrams and centers in Canada, the U.S and Mexico as well as South America and Europe. I am forever thankful to Swami Vishnu and the directors and staff of the organization who continue to support me.

The Sivananda Ashram Yoga Camp has been my home away from home for over 30 years now! The peaceful energy that was propagated here by Swami Vishnu devananda is still strong and very present here in the first Sivananda Ashram founded by swamiji! Nestled on over 200 acres in the beautiful Laurentien Mountains 50 miles north of Montreal, here you will find the ideal environment to learn the spiritual art of Thai Yoga Massage-Applied Yoga Therapy. You will be able to fully immerse into the ashram routine with daily meditation sittings and yoga classes. Enjoy the nature trails or relax by the pool during your breaks.
We will be offering our Certification course, levels 1 and 2 twice in 2014, from February 24 - March 8 and August 4 - 16. You may want to consider taking level 1 in February, take a few months to practice what you have learned and then return in August to take level 2. French translation will be available for courses in Val Morin.
We offer Continuing education courses in Applied Yoga Therapy. By combining hatha yoga postures with diapraghmatic breathing and mindfulness techniques we have created a unique learning experience where both practitioner and recipient benefit from the therapeutic skills learned in our courses.
